Pennsylvania Attorneys Against Distracted Driving Online Game

May 2, 2012

May 2, 2012, ERIE, PA — Regular readers of our Pennsylvania Car Accidents blog know that distracted driving is a particular source of concern for the Erie injury lawyers at our firm.  Now, you can see why.  A new online game allows you to see for yourself how external distractions can affect your ability to respond to traffic conditions.  To give it a try, click HERE.

Our Pennsylvania injury attorneys are bringing their message of the dangers of distracted driving to students across Northwest Pennsylvania.  Recent presentations have been given at McDowell Intermediate Unit, Central Tech, and Fort LeBouef High School.  Coming next are General McLane High School on May 8 and Strong Vincent High School on May 18.

Our distracted driving campaign focuses on the worst distraction: texting while driving.  The presentation includes information from police officers who investigate tragic traffic accidents; the news media who reports on the events; and the lawyers who try to help the victims afterwards.  Students are given an opportunity to “Take the Pledge” not to text and drive and are given a bracelet to memorialize their vow.

To take the pledge yourself, or to learn more about our distracted driving campaign, visit www.NoTxtPa.com.
