The opinion is reproduced here and does an excellent job of reviewing the relevant case law.

NBNL supports Erie area families who need help with the costs of fertility treatments and adoption. These materials were provided to seminar participants at a seminar I gave to trial lawyers on September 24, 2008 at the Manufacturer’s Association Conference and Learning Center in Erie, Pennsylvania. The seminar was entitled, “Trial Advocacy: Making the Most of What ‘Ya Got.” These particular teaching materials focused on the use of deposition transcripts at trial.
Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress was the subject of a seminar given by Eric Purchase on March 23, 1994 to insurance defense lawyers, insurance claims adjustors, and other claims professionals. These materials were provided to attendees at the event and include the now somewhat notorious, “Negligent Infliction of Emotional Distress Flowchart.” This flowchart was reportedly kept handy by numerous insurance claims professionals for years after the seminar. I’d be interested in learning if anyone still uses it.
These teaching materials pertain to personal injury cases and the disclosure of surveillance video in such cases, zero-sum verdicts, and the effective use of expert witnesses at trial. These were provided at a seminar given by Eric Purchase to lawyers, insurance adjustors. and other claims professionals on April 4, 2002.
These materials addressed the state of the law in 1995 with regard to a personal injury victim’s obligation to reimburse public liens from the proceeds of a personal injury settlement or verdict. The materials were provided to a group of insurance adjustors, claims professionals, and lawyers on March 22, 1995.
