Mercer Truck Accident Lawyers Man Killed In I 80 Wrong Way Collision

October 27, 2010

October 28, 2010, Mercer, PA — A man traveling in the wrong direction on Interstate 80 in Mercer County was killed yesterday when he crashed head on into a commercial tractor trailer. Paul Warner, 23, of Warren, Ohio, was driving a 1991 Ford Ranger in a westbound direction in the eastbound lanes of I-80 in Shenango Township at about 2:30 a.m. when the Pennsylvania commercial truck accident occurred.

Mr. Warner collided the tandem trailers being towed by an eastbound 2005 Volvo driven by Alexandre Stoilkov of Schiller Park, Ill. Mr. Stoikov was not injured, according to police.

Mr. Warner’s truck rolled over and he was ejected. Police did not say whether Mr. Warner was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the Mercer tractor trailer accident.

Our sympathies are with Mr. Warner’s family and we are grateful that Mr. Stoikov was not injured.
