June 11, 2012, Franklin, PA — Three Venango County Pennsylvania car accidents are in the news today.
A Ford Explorer rolled over multiple times in an I-80 median in Clinton Township. A juvenile had been operating the vehicle westbound before losing control around 1:30 p.m. yesterday. Two passengers – Randy Rockey of Mill Hall and Jennifer Martin of Milesburg, are listed in critical condition at UPMC Presbyterian in Pittsburgh.
A two vehicle Pennsylvania car accident in Oil Creek on Saturday resulted in a man being life-flighted to UPMC-Hamot in Erie. Gary Crawford of Pleasantville was driving a 2004 Ford Ranger and may have been attempting to turn it around on Route 27 just east of White City Road when he was struck by a westbound Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by 17-year-old man. The Mr. Crawford was taken by helicopter to UPMC-Hamot while the two teen occupants of the Jeep were identified as having suffered mild and moderate injuries but their whereabouts and conditions were unknown.
Finally, a hit-and-run accident in Central Venango County has police searching for the driver of a dark, older model station wagon (possibly a Subaru) missing a front bumper. A teen driver of a Nissan Altima westbound on Pump Station Road was struck when another westbound vehicle failed to negotiate a curve and struck the Altima. The hit-and-run driver then left the scene eastbound on Pump Station Road. Witnesses with information about the accident are encouraged to call Pennsylvania State Troopers at (814) 676-6596.
