June 14, 2013

A tragic Tionesta car accident claimed the lives of three teens in Forest County, Pennsylvania Wednesday night.  Early reports indicate the one vehicle auto crash occurred on German Hill Road in Green Township at about 7:30 p.m. when the driver lost control of his vehicle and went off the road, striking a tree.

Reported as killed at the scene of the Forest County accident were Thomas E. Phelps, 19, of Oil City and Cody Mohrey, 17, of Tionesta.  Cody A. Masters, 19, of Titusville, was life-flighted to UPMC-Hamot where he was later pronounced dead.

The cause of the Pennsylvania car accident is still under investigation.  Early police reports indicate that Mr. Phelps was the driver but little other information has been reported.
