Erie Lawyers 2nd Adult Dies In Odyssey Crash On I 90

September 8, 2010, Westfield, NY — Authorities have announced that a second adult died as a result of the I-90 car accident near Westfield, NY Monday afternoon. Hang Phan, 64, was pronounced dead at Hamot Medical Center in Erie on Monday. Hanh Nguyen, 36, was pronounced dead Tuesday morning, also at Hamot.

The two adults were part of a group of nine returning home to Cleveland from Buffalo Monday when their Honda Odyssey veered off the highway and crashed into a tree near Portland, NY (See yesterday’s Blog entry ). Five adults and four children were in the van driven by Hung Q. Tran, 37 when it drifted into the median on Interstate 90 then crossed back over both westbound lanes and then off the shoulder, down an embankment and into a tree.

A child was also taken to Hamot Medical Center in Erie while two other adults were taken to Westfield Memorial Hospital and two other children were taken to Women and Children’s Hospital in Buffalo. A fourth child was treated at the scene.

Authorities report that one of the children, who had been in critical condition, has been upgraded to serious condition. Another adult remains in critical condition.

The investigation into the accident continues.

Our thoughts are with everyone involved in this interstate car accident and with their families who are grieving and hoping for recovery for their hospitalized members.

Mr. George and his entire office staff were very kind and helping me through my first ever experience with the law. He was able to get me exactly what he said he would in the outcome of my trial. The entire staff was very informative and kept me up to date on everything. Very pleased with my experience and would most definately recommend him to others.
