Erie Lawyer Erie Injury Lawyer At Paaj Winter Meeting

January 27, 2011

January 28, 2011, Hershey, PA — I’m writing from Hershey where I’m finishing the first day of the 2011 Pennsylvania Association for Justice Winter Meeting. The day included a special legislative policy session and meetings of the Pennsylvania Automobile Law section, the Pennsylvania Insurance Bad Faith section (where my partner’s big victory in the western district court was prominently discussed) and a meeting of the Pennsylvania Medical Malpractice section.

These meetings are helpful to our clients in that they give us access to the most current developments in the law. By attending and contributing, we stay just that little bit ahead of the curve.

But more important than that is meeting our obligation to protect the clients we don’t yet have. Sure, we can protect clients in a courtroom, once they’ve signed with us. But there are people injured every day who are not yet clients at Purchase, George & Murphey, P.C.. And every day, there are special interest groups across the state working to limit the rights of the injured. By staying involved, by contributing our time and resources, we work to protect all Pennsylvanians.

If you’re interviewing Pennsylvania injury lawyers in Erie, Crawford, Venango, Warren or Forest Counties, consider asking them whether they support the PaAJ and at what level. Any Pennsylvania personal injury lawyer worth his salt should at least be a member of the organization. Even better, the Pennsylvania injury attorney you choose should also have served in a leadership capacity at some point in his career.
