The Erie Community Foundation is, for the second consecutive year, running its “Erie Gives Day.” The program is a one day event which gives donors the power to increase the value of their contributions beyond the actual dollars given. Confused? Here’s how it works.
The Erie Community Foundation has set aside $75,000 and GE has added an additional $25,000 to create a fund of $100,000. They promise to use this $100,000 fund to match a percentage of all contributions made to local Erie charities through their website: www.ErieGives.org Last year, the program added 14% to all contributions made.
