Erie Injury Lawyers Support Charitable Giving

August 14, 2012, ERIE, PA — Our Pennsylvania injury law blog has been used before to talk about important charitable events in northwest Pennsylvania.  Today, we write to put the word out about a one day only opportunity to maximize the power of your contribution to your favorite Erie charity.

The Erie Community Foundation is, for the second consecutive year, running its “Erie Gives Day.”  The program is a one day event which gives donors the power to increase the value of their contributions beyond the actual dollars given.  Confused?  Here’s how it works.

The Erie Community Foundation has set aside $75,000 and GE has added an additional $25,000 to create a fund of $100,000.  They promise to use this $100,000 fund to match a percentage of all contributions made to local Erie charities through their website: www.ErieGives.org    Last year, the program added 14% to all contributions made.

THe Erie injury attorneys of Purchase, George & Murphey, P.C. are proud of our long support of the New Blossoms New Life Foundation and made a contribution to NBNL through Erie Gives earlier this morning.  You can do the same or choose your favorite Erie Charity.  Regardless of what charity you choose, you’ll be maximizing the power of your donation.

Mr. George and his entire office staff were very kind and helping me through my first ever experience with the law. He was able to get me exactly what he said he would in the outcome of my trial. The entire staff was very informative and kept me up to date on everything. Very pleased with my experience and would most definately recommend him to others.
