February 7, 2011, ERIE, PA — At least one person, and likely one other, was injured in an Erie car accident at 24th and Ash Streets Sunday afternoon. Apparently, a driver backing out of a parking lot near the northeast corner struck a parked vehicle, resulting in the Erie car crash injuries.
An occupant from the parked vehicle was taken to St. Vincent Health Center via Emergycare ambulance. A pedestrian who was also allegedly hit in the accident was allegedly taken to the hospital via private vehicle.
No information as to the identities of the people involved or the condition of the injured is yet available.
