Connie Stewart was a passenger on a Harley Davidson Road Glide driven by Arthur Grieshaw, Jr. Mr. Grieshaw attempted to pass an ATV occupied by three teens but aborted the effort when the ATV began to make a left turn. Apparently, the Harley struck the rear of the ATV and Mr. Grieshaqw and Ms. Stewart were thrown from the bike. The three teens were also thrown from the ATV.
Both vehicles were southbound on Sharp Road near McLaughlin Road in Waterford at the time of the accident. Both Mr. Grieshaw and Ms. Stewart were wearing helmets.
Police report Ms. Stewart was flown to Hamot Medical Center with major injuries as a result of the Erie County motorcycle accident. Mr. Grieshaw and the three teens reportedly suffered minor injuries.
