November 15, 2010, ERIE, PA — A one car accident on Route 98 near Luther Road in Fairview Township has left one dead and another injured. John Beck, 64, of Cranesville, was reportedly the driver in the Erie County car accident.
Mr. Beck was operating a Honda Accord station wagon on Route 98 just north of Luther Road. The vehicle left the road, traveled up an embankment and struck a tree. Mr. Beck was thrown from the vehicle. By report, he was not wearing his seatbelt.
Cheryl Beck, 62, was reported as injured in the accident. She was transported to Hamot Medical Center but was not admitted.
