Erie County Accident Lawyers Car Strikes Horse Buggy In Albion

December 3, 2010, Albion, PA — A pickup truck struck a horse and buggy in Conneaut Township and fled the scene Wednesday night. The accident happened on Griffey Road when the horse and buggy were northbound and a southbound pickup truck struck the wheels of the buggy. The truck driver reportedly turned around and passed the buggy again but did not stop.

The occupants of the horse and buggy, Rudy Kauffman, 34, and Moses Kauffman, 18, of Albion, were uninjured. The horse was also uninjured. The buggy was destroyed.

State Police are seeking information about the accident and the pick up driver. Anyone with information about the Erie County car accident is encouraged to contact Pennsylvania State Trooper Marc Stevick at 774-9611.
