Erie Car Accident Lawyers 4 Hurt In Corry Utility Pole Crash

September 26, 2010

September 27, 2010, Corry, PA — Four people were hurt in a Corry car crash yesterday when their vehicle struck a utility pole on Sample Flats road. State police said that Devin J. Miller, 20, was driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Am when he tried to pass another car at high speed. He reportedly lost control, struck the utility pole, and spun.

Mr. Miller and a 17 year old unidentified passenger were severely injured and flown to Hamot Hospital for emergency treatment. Two other passengers, Tory Leutz, 19 and an unidentified 17 year old girl, were taken to Corry Memorial Hospital for treatment of moderate injuries.

State Police report that at least some of the young people involved were not wearing seatbelts.

The Erie County car accident lawyers and staff of Purchase, George & Murphey, P.C. hope that all of the injured people are soon recovered. Our thoughts and prayers are with Mr. Miller and the other seriously injured passenger and their families.
