November 18, 2010

November 18, 2010, ERIE, PA — Robert Sands. 19, was northbound on Route 8 in Erie County Sunday when a southbound vehicle operated by a reportedly drunk driver crossed the center line and struck him head on. (See the original blog entry HERE ).

Little is known about the specifics of Mr. Sands’ condition, but it was immediately apparent that his injuries were of a serious nature. He was taken to Hamot Medical Center where he remains in serious condition.

Now, friends or supporters have set up a medical fund to help Mr. Sands. Donations to the Robert Sands Medical Fund can be made at Northwest Savings Bank branch.
