Clarion Car Accident Lawyers Girl Hurt When Tree Falls On Van

October 8, 2010

October 9, 2010, Clarion, PA — An 11 year old girl was injured when a tree fell on a van in Clarion Thursday. Police report that the girl was a passenger in a 2001 Chrysler Town and Country driven by Linda L. Phillips, 43, of Tionesta. The van was northbound on Route 4033 in Farmington Township.

The girl was flown by helicopter to Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh. No information was available on her condition. The driver of the van and two other passengers had minor injuries.

It is unclear how the accident happened but it may be an example of an old, uncared for tree that fell at the wrong time. If so, the property owner may be responsible for the harm caused.
