Mark Harrington, former Senior Claims Supervisor at Erie Insurance, has joined Purchase, George & Murphey, P.C. as a full-time Case Manager.

Mr. Harrington worked at Erie Insurance for 26 years as a claims adjustor, claims supervisor, and, finally, as a Senior Claims Supervisor. Mr. Harrington managed literally thousands of personal injury claims and evaluated dozens of northwest Pennsylvania injury lawyers.

“One of the first things we asked at any claim review meeting was, ‘Who represents the claimant?’ If we didn’t know the Pennsylvania injury lawyer, the next question was, ‘Does he try cases?'” says Mr. Harrington. “We knew that there were plenty of lawyers who would never try a case, who would just roll over and take what we offered.
