PFA Dismissed After Hearing

In March 2015, a PFA was granted to a woman who alleged that her long-time boyfriend threatened to do “bad things” to her and “knows people that will harm her.” She also accused him of threatening other things that would happen to her which placed her in fear of injury.

At the final PFA hearing, Erie, PA criminal defense lawyer Tim George cross-examined the accuser using phone records, text messages, and letters she had written. After a lengthy cross-examination, the defense asked the Court to dismiss the PFA. The Court agreed and denied the accuser’s request for a final protection order.
